Refund & cancellation policy

1. THE SHORT VERSION

Event entries are non-refundable, but you can transfer your entry to another athlete up to 7 days before the event. If we cancel an event and don't reschedule it, you get a full refund.

Digital products, including training plans, packs and templates, are non-refundable once delivered. We say so before you pay.

Free things stay free. Community runs, training groups and free downloads have nothing to refund.

2. EVENT REGISTRATIONS

When you register, we commit to venues, permits, timing, insurance, medical cover and crew based on the number of people entered. That's why entries are non-refundable, including if you change your mind, get injured, can't travel, or don't show up. Optional extras bought with an entry follow the same rule.

Transfers. Up to 7 days before the event you can transfer your entry to another athlete. Contact us through the support form with the new athlete's name and email; they complete registration and the waiver in their own name, and any price difference isn't refunded. Transfers aren't possible in the final 7 days, because that's when bibs, timing and lists are locked.

Pending payments. If you started checkout but haven't paid, nothing has been charged. You can cancel the pending registration from your account at any time.

3. IF WE CHANGE OR CANCEL AN EVENT

We cancel. If PAINKLLR cancels an event and doesn't reschedule it, every entry is refunded in full to the original payment method within 10 business days.

We reschedule. If we move an event to a new date, your entry carries over automatically. If the new date doesn't work for you, ask for a full refund within 14 days of the announcement and you'll get one.

Course or format changes. Safety, weather and permit conditions sometimes force us to shorten a course, change a start time or alter a format on the day. That's part of racing and isn't grounds for a refund.

Weather and events beyond our control. If severe weather, a public-safety order, a venue withdrawal or a similar event outside our control stops the race, we'll reschedule where we can and treat it as a reschedule above. If rescheduling isn't possible, we'll refund what we're able to after unrecoverable costs, and we'll be transparent about what those were.

4. DIGITAL PRODUCTS

Training plans, training packs, templates, guides and any other paid download are delivered instantly and can't be returned, so all sales are final and non-refundable. This is stated on the product page and at checkout, and by paying you agree to it. It applies whether or not you've opened the file.

If a file is corrupt, missing or you can't download it, that's a delivery problem and we'll fix it: contact us and we'll re-issue the download. If you bought the same product twice by mistake, tell us within 7 days and we'll refund the duplicate. Your use of the product is governed by the Digital Product License.

5. PROMO CODES & PRICING

Discounts and promo codes must be applied at checkout; we can't apply one after you've paid or refund the difference. If a price on the site is obviously wrong, we may cancel the order and refund it in full before the event or delivery.

6. HOW REFUNDS ARE PAID

Refunds go back to the card or payment method you used, through Stripe, our payment processor. We issue them within 10 business days of approving them; your bank may take a few more days to show the money. We can't refund to a different card or in cash.

7. CHARGEBACKS

If you think a charge is wrong, contact us first: most problems are sorted in a day. A chargeback filed against a charge that matches this policy may lead us to cancel the related entry or access and to decline future registrations until it's resolved.

8. HOW TO ASK

Use the support form on the contact page with "Refund / transfer" as the topic, or email hello@painkllr.com from the address on your account. Include your name, the event or product, and your order reference if you have it. We reply within one business day.

9. CHANGES

The policy that applies is the one in force when you paid. The effective date at the top tells you when this version began. Your statutory rights aren't affected by anything here.
